Following the launch of our new Climate Clarity hub, this webinar dives into platforms’ responses to EU regulations aimed at preventing climate change disinformation. Our guest speaker Devin Bahceci explains the latest findings of the Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD). The coalition has analysed the Strengthened Code of Practice Reports and the first round of the Digital Services Act (DSA) Transparency Reports provided by large online platforms to conclude that most online platforms and search engines are significantly underperforming in their responses to climate mis- and disinformation. Join us and find out more about the current efforts to counter climate misinformation on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and X. This webinar is organised with the support of the Heinrich Böll Foundation. Speaker: Devin Bahceci, Global Strategic Communications Council (GSCC) / Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD) Moderator: Ana Romero-Vicente, EU DisinfoLab The opinions expressed are those of the speakers/authors and do not necessarily reflect the position of EU DisinfoLab.
